EVENT TITLE: Storybooks LIVE!

THEME + SHORT DESCRIPTION: Partnerning with local middle school performing arts students to perform your favorite childhood stories for you and your family to enjoy for one weekend only! $5 donation per person. Friday and Saturday night 6:30-8pm, Sunday afternoon 3-4:30pm. Bring your gentle used books and recieve a dollar off admission. Located in the 3rd floor audotorium. Partnering with; recycling center for costume donations, and New Urban Arts for the use of their tectiles and fashion area, local childrens artists and authors for donations to hold a silent auction.

GOAL/S: Raise money to enhance Early Literacy Programs with engagement from our middle school students who will gain performance skills and engage young readers and their families. At beginning of performance, a short presentation on the importance of early literacy and a overview of our programs will be shown.
